Getting it read..

The budget will have to do! That is what I've come to: there is only so many numbers I can stand to look at. And yet, being the perfectionist that I am, I can't get my mind off of it. But it is time now to start looking at the actual applications and filling them out. Most of them want a full treatment which I have written twice in different ways. We shall see which one makes it out or if I write it a third time. Of course, whatever I write is going to say basically the same thing; it all boils down to syntax (aka me being picky). Thank goodness for deadlines, or I would probably drive myself crazy with it.
Next week, I'm going to post some pictures of the Farmersville country. It's pretty even this time of year. But my favorite time to shoot is in Spring and Summer. Lucky for me that is also hay season! I can' wait to start filming.

Starting Pre-Production

I say I'm just starting, but really I have been mulling this over in my mind for about two years now.

I've got the budget nearly done; I just have to add a few more things and make some adjustments. I already have a crew lined up which is amazing!

Next step will be to finalize the treatment and apply at different places for funding. That's the scary part for me because that's what will make or break this documentary. I will be so relieved once the funds start coming in and I can get started.
